The “perfect” storm – and how we counter it

We are witnessing shaky times on the financial markets, with every day bringing new price swings. But when will the long-awaited calm finally return? The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is blazing without an end in sight, supply chains continue to be interrupted or severely disrupted and fears of inflation are rising unabated. For investors, it is extremely difficult to make the right decisions that will enable them not to place unnecessary strain on their portfolio and its returns.

And how are our investment managers responding? What considerations are they making to ensure that the assets entrusted to us are invested sustainably even in these turbulent times? What investment strategy can they call on?

In the short discussion between our Head Investment Management, Konstantinos Ntefeloudis, and Marc Jäggi, Head Moderation at Radio 1, you will hear how we are bracing ourselves against the “perfect” storm and what forecasts we are making for the second half of 2022. (only available in German)

It is precisely in the current situation that it is vital to remain calm when selecting investment instruments and to adopt a disciplined and considered approach. It is understandable that this represents a considerable challenge for many investors.
